EAST CHICAGO MARINA HOSTS BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
The East Chicago Marina will host its 3rd Annual Breakfast with Santa at its Social Center on Saturday, December 13, 2008.

The program will run from 9 a.m. to noon. Activities will include pictures with Santa, crafts and story time. “This is a really great event for the children,” said Sophia Rodriguez, East Chicago Marina social director. “This is a real family oriented event and participation has increased every year.”

There is no charge, but space is limited. Please call Sophia at 391-7102 for your reservations.


MAYOR PABEY PROMISES FOOD, BINGO, ENTERTAINMENT AND FUN
Mayor George Pabey and his Senior Citizen’s Planning Committee proudly announce their city wide Holiday Party on Tuesday, December 4, 2008 at the American Legion Post 369 from noon-3:00 p.m.

“This is one of my favorite events,” said Mayor Pabey. “Our senior citizens are one of our most valued treasures and they are an important component in our community.”

This free event is open to all East Chicago residents, 62 and older. Proper identification is required and space is limited!
