Late Fees
If your bill is not paid by the due date, a 3% late fee will be added to the water charges. A late fee in the amount of 10% will be added to the sewer charges if the bill is not paid within 30 days of the due date.

Delinquent Notices
A delinquent notice may be mailed to you if the amount due on your account has not been paid in full and is at least 30 days past due. To avoid disconnection, you must pay the amount shown by the due date. If you are unable to pay the entire amount, you must contact the Water Department before the due date to avoid disconnection.

Payment Agreements
The customer must pay 50% of their delinquent bill.

The customer must pay 1/6 (one-sixth) of the remaining delinquent balance, including any and all penalties, on a monthly basis so that the delinquency is satisfied within six months.

The customer must remain current on prospective bills (never more than 32 days between payments).

If the customer fails to comply with these terms, water service will be terminated without notice and will not be restored until the entire balance is paid in full along with the applicable reconnect fee.

When water service is terminated due to customer negligence (delinquent account, no deposit, failure to keep payment agreement, etc.) the entire balance must be paid in full along with the applicable reconnect fee before water service is restored.

Payment Window located at 400 E. Chicago Avenue.
