Vital Pool Information

Children 8 & under must be accompanied by a relative 13 or older.

Food and beverages are available for purchase at the pool concession stand. No outside food, beverages or coolers are allowed.

Smoking is prohibited on pool premises.

Young children in diapers must wear approved swim diapers.

Only plain white t-shirts may be worn in the water over swimsuits.

Street shoes and street clothes may not be worn on the pool deck. No exceptions will be made.

No floatation devices are allowed in any part of the pool.

Strict discipline will be enforced in all areas of the pool complex. Failure to comply with the rules may result in suspension or termination of privileges.

We reserve the right to refuse admittance into the pool and eject individuals.

No foul language will be allowed in pool facilities. Pool facilities promote a family atmosphere.

Only swimsuits with liners are allowed on deck. No cutoffs, basketball shorts, spandex, etc./ No reveling bathing suits will be allowed.

You must be 42 inches or taller to go down the water slides / children below height requirement will be asked to perform a swim test.

No refunds or rain checks.

The East Chicago Parks & Recreation District reserves the right to close the pool facilities due to inclement weather.
