BustranisitlogoE.C.T.  Service

E.C.T. provides riders with free transit service. Riders thirteen (13) years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Shirts and foot wear must be worn at all times while riding E.C.T. In cooperation with the American with Disabilities Act of 1990, E.C.T. buses are accessible for individuals with disabilies.  E.C.T. buses are equipped with lifts, ramps and a kneeling feature which can lower the bus for easier boarding.

These features can be used by anyone upon request. E.C.T. buses are also equipped with seatbelts & securements for individuals with a common wheelchair, scooter, or any mobility device. E.C.T. will not deny service to anyone if these devices cannot be secured properly. If any of these features fail, a spare vehicle will be dispatched to the location.

Bus operators announce major intersection transfer points and all requested stops along the routes. Service animals are permitted to ride on E.C.T.  For the comfort of others, the owner should have control of the service animal at all time. Personal oxygen tanks and respirators can be transported, but must be secured by the rider. E.C.T. prohibits eating drinking and smoking on our vehicles. E.C.T. will make reasonable accommodation for riders with a disability.

How to Ride E.C.T.
E.C.T. buses will stop at any designated stop along the route or any major intersection as long as it is safe to do so. Be sure to be visible to the operator as the bus approaches, clearly signal to the operator that you wish to board. As a courtesy, take a moment to see if anyone is deboarding. Watch your step when boarding the bus, promptly take a seat and store any bags, packages, carts, strollers, etc. on the seat next to you or under the first row of seats (provided space is available). Infants and children must be removed from strollers and buggys. DO NOT BLOCK AISLES AND DOORWAYS. To exit the bus, signal the operator by pulling the signal cord or pressing the signal strip as you approach your destination.  DO NOT ASK THE OPERATOR TO STOP ANOTHER BUS WHILE THEY ARE IN MOTION. Please remain seated until the bus comes to a complete stop and watch your step when exiting the bus. Stand back and wait for the bus to leave DO NOT CROSS IN FRONT OF BUS WHEN EXITING. E.C.T. wants to ensure the safety of our passengers and operators. E.C.T operators do their best to follow the posted schedules in order for you to arrive to your destination safely and on time. However, on occasions road construction, inclement weather, trains or any type of traffic tie-ups may cause delays in the schedule. Your patience and understanding is appreciated during these times. E.C.T. thanks each and everyone for using our service and with your cooperation the bus operator will try his/her best to provide a safe and comfortable ride.
