The following links are downloads to various forms required by the City of East Chicago Building Departments Division of Inspections and Permits.

Mandatory Inspections.pdf

Recipients of Building Permits must schedule the following required and mandatory inspections with the City of East Chicago Building Department twenty-four (24) hours in advance. Failure to comply may result in a revoked permit, a stop work order, and/or a $100 to $500 fine. A Certificate of Occupancy and Compliance will be issued upon total completion of the project and fulfillment of associated fees, which shall be verified by the Building Department.
